2008-2009:
in the studio

April 1, 2008 - So, I've decided to not work on any projects and go back to the studio. I have some ideas of things I'd like to explore: drawing (and I mean really drawing, like how I used to do (see etching on this page)); paper sculptures; watercolors; handmade books; dioramas; mechanicals; collage animation; and more. A bunch of these are electronic. Some aren't. I can't really say right now. I suppose I'll find out.

The truth is that they've all been on my mind for a very long time and I just haven't had the proper time to sit down and explore. It's been frustrating. So, that's what I'm doing. Making time without any deadlines.

I'm giving myself eighteen months, so I figure by October 2009 I'll re-emerge with something very new then. So, this page will be quiet. That said, a lot will still be going on at itp and at greylock arts, so you can check there.
